My Sewful Life takes many shapes, and one of them is blogging for Coats and Clark’s Sewing Secrets blog. It’s a lot of fun and you’ll see me on there about four times each month. Most of the time I compile posts from lots of skilled tutorial bloggers and June was all about Patriotic Projects.

I know it’s close to the Fourth now, but hey . . . Patriotic sewing is in style any time of the year, right?! These are super-great, wonderful, marvelous projects – so I’m sharing them with you!! And, I know you’re clever and I bet you can still make some of these before the big day. Here’s a peek at a few of the projects from my posts, take a look . . .
Sew a Handmade Patriotic Picnic
You might get a couple of these done, if you hurry. There are a few projects that are pretty red, blue and simple! I had fun thinking about picnicking and what would make it a festive, handmade occasion. Like the DIY bunting and the felt adorned starry can containers. And, save your bandanas! Cute stuff!! Really! Get busy, you can do it. I have confidence in your “stay-up-late, let-the-housework-go, order-take-out-and-just-sew” skills!! Use your sewing superpower and make Adorable dresses!
