Sew Scandinavian for Christmas Hygge

We’re all hearing a lot about the Scandinavian concept of hygge (comfort, contentment and coziness) and Christmas seems like the perfect time for hygge-ness. Yeah, that’s probably not a word, but you know what I mean!

I live my Sewful Life in the Pacific Northwest where you’ll find a Scandinavian or three on every corner. In fact, I married one and our holiday celebrations have always been very Swedish, with a bit of Texas thrown in to honor my side of the family. It works – really!
