DIY Sports Bras – More Blogging, More Sewing

I’m sewing like crazy these days! Pattern testing, new vacation clothes, a dress for my auntie – there are loads of fabulous fabrics flying through the machines!! So much sew that I haven’t had much writing time, but I did get another tutorial compilation post done for the Coats and Clark Sewing Secrets blog. The BIG buzz right now is all about their new stretch thread, Eloflex and I found another fabulous use for it – Sports Bras!!

The first one in the post is from The Sewing Rabbit blog – it’s simple and a great place to start. (Would that be a “trainer bra”??) Then I move onto a Sports Bra with curves from So Sew Easy and finally, a wonderful tank and sports bra combo from Peek-a-Boo Patterns with a Maternity Pack add-on. My goodness, there are some amazing patterns and tutorials out there! I’ve added tips and hints on choosing fabrics, needles, stitches and thread, too.

Whether you’re super active or just want something comfy to wear around the house, I think you’ll have fun with these! Click here to read my Sew Your Own Sports Bra post on the Coats and Clark Sewing Secrets blog. Enjoy and I’ll be back with more of my own projects soon!
